Privacy policy

Road to 151 is a personal collection tracker for Pokemon trading cards, available as a website and as a mobile app. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and what rights you have. The service is operated by the Road to 151 team ("we", "us").

Data we process

Account data. Your email address, an optional display name, and your language preference. Created when you sign up with email or with Google sign-in.
Collection data. Which pokemon you have marked as caught, the card versions you pick, your binders, quests, notes and progress.
Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, user agent) needed to run and secure the service, and anonymous aggregated visit counts on the website.

We do not process payment data, contacts, photos, location, health data, or advertising identifiers. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising or third-party tracking.

Why we process it (legal basis)

To create and maintain your account and sync your collection between devices, which is necessary to perform our agreement with you.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors, based on our legitimate interest.
For optional analytics and non-essential cookies on the website, based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Storage and processors

Data is stored in a managed cloud database and authentication service used as our data processor, hosted in the EU. Card images and card metadata are fetched from public Pokemon card and Pokemon data APIs; those requests contain no account data. If you use Google sign-in, Google processes your sign-in as an identity provider.

Retention

Account and collection data is kept for as long as your account exists. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. When you delete your account, your account and collection data are deleted.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your data, and you can object to or restrict processing. Write to privacy@roadto151.com and we will respond without undue delay. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Account deletion

You can delete your account and all data linked to it by emailing privacy@roadto151.com from your registered address. We confirm deletion by email.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are announced in the app and on this page, with an updated date at the top.
